 In paint booth operations, timing and safety are everything. Thomas Products’ flow switches (Models 1500, 1600, and 2000) are designed to automatically activate key peripheral systems—such as ventilation fans, lighting, heating, and filtration—when the spray gun is engaged. This not only ensures a safe and controlled environment for operators but also improves process efficiency and reduces the chance of human error.

With rugged construction and high chemical resistance, our flow switches operate dependably in the harsh environments common to paint booths, where exposure to solvents, overspray, and airborne particles is routine. Their ability to respond instantly to flow changes ensures the booth’s atmosphere is always maintained within safety and quality standards.

Spray Gun Activation

When the operator begins painting, Thomas Products’ flow switches detect the fluid flow through the spray system and instantly trigger the booth’s ventilation and lighting systems. This seamless response protects both the product and the technician.

Peripheral System Control

 Models 1500/1600 and Model 2000 ensure synchronized operation of multiple subsystems—air filters, heaters, and exhaust fans—ensuring the paint booth operates safely, efficiently, and without interruption.
